Client council
The board of the General Practitioner believes it is important to involve patients in our care.
This helps us to improve care.
The Participation of Clients in Healthcare Institutions Act (WMCZ) fits in seamlessly with this and provides a legal basis for the establishment of a Client Council.
Since 2022, the General Practitioner Maastricht and Heuvelland also has a Client Council.
Purpose
The Client Council represents the interests of clients.
This means that we look with the eyes of all residents of the region at how the General Practitioner performs his tasks.
Any resident can be a patient of the General Practitioner at any time.
The Client Council may give solicited and unsolicited advice to the General Practitioner’s management. For example, about patient information, protection of privacy and the complaints procedure. The Board of the General Practitioner and the Client Council hold regular meetings about this.
Tasks
The Client Council focuses on the general interest of patients who make use of the care offered by the General Practitioner Maastricht en Heuvelland.
We think and talk about various topics.
